Happy Hump Day Beauties!!
So I wasn’t actually planning on blogging today but something has been on my mind for awhile and I just wanted to throw it out there. I started blogging a few months ago because it’s a fun creative outlet and I think it’s a great place to share ideas/tips/recipes etc. with whoever feels like reading it. I know that opening up your life in a public way allows for feedback in both positive and negative ways and while I so so appreciate you all taking the time to read whatever ramblings I spit out on any given day, I also reserve the right to not allow some comments to stick around and bring me down. Maybe I’m a little more sensitive then other bloggers that you might follow but since this is MY blog, I think I reserve the right to keep it as fun/silly/uplifting/sparkly and sweet as I want it to be. So that being said, if you don’t see your comment then you know that it just wasn’t nice and I don’t have room for that kind of negativity in my life. End of story.
Let’s build each other up and make each other better. Let’s be the bigger person and stand up for what’s good and just and nice in the world. Let’s create safe space for each other to just be ourselves. Life is short you guys and I don’t know about you but I plan on spending my days making those around me feel extra sparkly and I hope you do the same.
So throw kindness around like confetti and make this world a better place for all of us.
“It is both a blessing and a curse to feel everything so very deeply.”
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you stick around!

February 19, 2015Girl people are just jealous. Sorry that you look fab and they look drab! But on that note your allowed to say anything you want, but your viewers get censored? Sounds kind of backwards

February 19, 2015Hey girl!
Thanks for the support. I’m not censoring so much as not approving insults and negativity towards me as a person/stylist. I don’t insult my viewers so I don’t think they should insult me which sounds pretty fair. Don’t you think?

February 19, 2015I absolutely agree with you Madelyn! You would never dream of reading another person’s blog and putting negative or hurtful comments. You are a beautiful woman, who is gifted at loving others. Unfortunately, there are a lot of hurting people that feel the need to hurt others. I think it is wise of you to take their comments down and place zero value in them. I want you to know that I love reading your blog and I appreciate you sharing yourself with us. Keep being you!

February 19, 2015Madelyn,
I totally agree with you! There’s no reason to put a negative comment on someone else’s work. I have taken off comments from my photography facebook page when people comment negatively. If someone doesn’t like my work, or has something negative to say, I would prefer that they send me a private message and we can discuss. Unless I ask for constructive criticism, I’m not asking you to comment if you don’t like something I do 🙂
