Tis’ the season for holiday parties and events! Are you ready?? I’m sure it will come as no surprise to you that my holiday/event outfits tend be to extra girly! Shocking, I know! 😉 While some people retire their pastels once the weather gets colder I still love to wear mine. Pink is a neutral anyways, don’t you agree?? But seriously, pink has and always will be a go-to for me and so when I found this coat last year I knew it had to be a part of my life. It’s great with jeans and dresses and just the right amount of weight to wear for events and not be too hot or too cold! I love it!

I wore this dress in a fashion for M&Em’s last week and am so happy to have it as part of my wardrobe for Fall and Winter! I styled it casually with booties and a scarf for the show and wanted to show it dressed up for a holiday event as well because it’s so versatile. You can’t go wrong with a fun plaid or checkered dress in your life. I thought about adding some lacy red tights or maybe sparkly ones for next time too and swap the tall boots out for pumps, what do you think? If you live local I highly recommend you paying a shopping visit to M&Ems because they have awesome gifts, accessories and clothing for kids and women! I love it! I was there tonight from 5-9 for ladies night out and had a great time meeting some of you ladies and helping accessorize and pick out holiday gifts! I’ll post some photos some other day and will def do another styling night, so stay tuned!

November 17: I’m thankful for rainy afternoons spent at the library with Riley. I stumbled across the sweetest book today, Wild About You! by Judy Sierra and legit cried reading it to Riley. It’s about animals at the zoo and a panda couple and a tree kangaroo who can’t have their own babies and all the other animals can. They’re so sad about it and so they adopt other animals as their own. You guys it’s the sweetest! If you know me well you know that I have always wanted to adopt so I LOVE finding a book like this that shows parents who don’t care what kind of baby they have as long as they have one! It’s short and sweet and I highly recommend it! 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful night!
