Fall Event Style

Hey ladies!

I don’t know about you but I have had so many events to go to this Fall and more coming up in October to style for so I thought it would be helpful to share a go-t0 look of mine to wear to girls nights out/bachelorette parties/reunions/etc. This dress is a wardrobe staple for me and it is so figure flattering on everyone! I actually have two that are almost identical because they are that great. Promise.Β 1[1]2[1]9[2]10[1]Like I’ve mentioned before I am constantly cold so I like having a wrap or poncho to wear to and from events. This one is so perfect for Fall because you can wear it over a dress or with jeans and the neutral colors go with everything! You can wear it open or flip one side over the opposite shoulder for a chic look.12[1]You can also flip each side onto the opposite shoulder for a full wrap look, which is my favorite! If you throw the left over the right, the right over the left and then pull down the first side you flipped over, your wrap will stay put all the night. It’s called the flip-flip-flop and it’s a stylist go-to. πŸ™‚ I’m going to post a step by step scarf tying one of these days to really show you what I mean but it’s so easy! πŸ™‚13[1]18[1]22[1]Ok let’s talk details! I’m sure you’ve noticed that I rewear the same accessories over and over. I hope that inspires you to mix and match in your own wardrobe and reminds you that a little bit goes a long way. You don’t have to have a ton of accessories to complete your looks but a variety is definitely key. A couple of night out clutches, some statement jewelry, a few scarves and some smaller jewelry for your everyday outfits and you’re good to go. Don’t let my love for accessories make you feel like you need a million things. πŸ™‚26[1]31[1]37[1]44[2]

I love mixing lots of neutrals together like I did here; grey/cognac/black/white. They’re so complimentary! πŸ™‚ This dress comes in a couple of colors and if I didn’t already have a similar black dress I would have bought that too! You can see how I styled the black dress 8 ways here and here. The same idea applies for this dress which is why it’s such a wardrobe staple! I am all about getting the most wear you can out of your clothes, in case you haven’t noticed that by now. πŸ™‚ What are some of your fave pieces in your wardrobe? Comment below and let me know!

As always, thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Friday eve! πŸ™‚
