Everyday Style with Tobi

Happy Wednesday loves!

It’s no secret I haven’t been super present in the blog world since Sophia was born. I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day and I want to be with Sophia 100% when she’s awake and then work on my to-do list when she’s asleep, which normally includes things around the house, a quick shower and SLEEP for myself, ha! But seriously. I think “tired” is a new adjective I would use to describe myself these days. BUT that doesn’t mean I don’t occasionally try to look like my “old” self and call Brooke up to take some photos to use when I have a few free moments to put a post together.

My mom style can best be described as easy/accessible/ and machine washable. It’s pretty rare for me to make it through a day without getting spit up on so delicate fabrics are reserved for going out without Sophia (which I pretty much never do) and special occasions. Don’t get me wrong I still like putting together cute outfits but I also realize that both Sophia and I will need at least one wardrobe change through the course of the day so I would rather be able to toss all our clothes into the laundry then have to make a trip to the dry cleaners because lets be real ain’t no mama got time for that. πŸ˜‰ Speaking of things I don’t have time for, getting to the store to shop is one of them. Now that Sophia is more active the last thing she wants to do is be stuck in a fitting room while I try on a million things. That’s why sites like Tobi come in super handy. They have all your fast fashion needs at good prices from clothing to shoes and accessories. #winning

I love the 2 dresses and romper that I picked out for Summer and the best part is I can pair them all with my go to stables in my wardrobe. You all know I love my denim shirts, Converse, Kendra Scott baubles and giant shades so I pretty much throw those on with all my outfits and call it a day. I could wear this babydoll dress everyday, plus I’m super comfortable to run around and get on the floor with Sophia. Stay tuned for how I converted my Kate Spade tote into my diaper bag, it’s been my favorite #momhack so far. πŸ˜‰ Speaking of hacks, if you’re loving the dress/romper combos that are out right now then styling a wrap dress as a layering piece is right up your alley!Β

I am obsessed with this large floral pattern and when I find the right nursing friendly slip then this wrap dress will be perfect for Summer but for now I lovee it as a kimono with this blush romper! Rompers are so great for nursing by the way! You don’t have to buy exclusively nursing marketed clothing when you’re a nursing mama, you just have to get a little more creative with the current trends. πŸ™‚ More on that later!

What are some trends you’re loving going into Summer? I feel like I’m so out of the loop over here and need to get myself together! I will say I’m so so happy that floral and blush are huge right now because those have been staples in my wardrobe for-ev-er! And hello shoes with giant bows on them where have you been all my life!? Have you jumped on that trend yet? I bought one pair that killed my feet so I need to find a comfy pair, comment below if you’ve found them! But that’s all for now! I need to get some more stuff done before Sophia wakes up to eat again and then I can go to sleep myself!

Thanks for stopping by!
