Casual Kimono

Hey dolls!

It’s been awhile since I posted an outfit shoot and I am so excited to share this easy, breezy kimono look with you! I love the kimono trend and that it’s here to stay for awhile. They are so versatile for casual and dressy occasions and I wear mine all the time! If you follow me on instagram I’m sure you’ve seen several different outfits with my kimonos and believe me you haven’t seen the last of them yet! When I am running around all day with Riley you will find me in flats and jeans pretty much always but that doesn’t mean comfort can’t be cute! Did you hear me ladies? You can be cute and comfortable!! 😉

I love this nude lip combo and wear it during the week a lot because it’s effortless but still put together. Sometimes it’s hard being yourself when you’re the only nanny around all moms at pick ups and sporting events. It’s not so fun always being the outsider in bright pink lipstick. Most days I don’t care because that’s my style and my choice butttttt every once in awhile I’m like I need a neutral back up. Dumb? Probably. Sensitive? For sure. Lipstick obsessed? Yes. Ok lipstick diary rant over. Moral of the story, always have a few shades with you for whatever your day might throw your way and try to make (mom) friends anyway, even if you’re ‘just’ a nanny. 🙂

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! After a week and a half of birthday celebrations I had to lay low today because my body has had enough and I’m not feeling so great. I can’t even think about all the things I’ve ate and drank or I might throw up. Don’t get me wrong, I feel so loved and celebrated and 27 is off to a fab start, but I need to get my body back in balance which means no alcohol and lots of fruits and veggies for me this week!

Thanks for stopping by!

“My wish for you is that you continue. Continue to be who and how you are, to astonish a mean world with your acts of kindness. Continue to allow humor to lighten the burden of your tender heart.”
