Boyfriend Jean Lovin’

What day is it?! HUMP DAY!!!

Ha, I laugh at that commercial every time sooo I thought it was a great start to my post, yes? 😉 It made me laugh at least, hehe.

I hope you’re all having a great week so far and I just wanted to say thanks as always for stopping by and reading my blog. I really do appreciate it! When I am styling an outfit or posting a recipe or whatever, I try to think about what I would want to read or if it’s something useful or new or exciting because I really don’t want to fill your feeds with repeats. One of my goals with my blog is accessibility. What do I mean by that? I want the things that I post to be easy to translate into your lives. There are so many a-mazing bloggers out there with fabulous style BUT sometimes I feel like I can’t afford their taste in decor/fashion/food and it’s such a bummer (Side note: no judgement on how you choose to spend your money). So my hope is to stay on an accessible level and help you all make the most of what you have in your closets already with just a few new pieces to add on here or there. Don’t get me wrong, buy as much as you want from my links! #knockyourselfout But for those ladies out there, like me that need to wear their clothes and accessories more then once, I hope I can give you a little inspiration on how to get the most out of your favorite pieces!

That being said, one piece I think EVERY woman needs in her closet is a fabulous fitting pair of boyfriend jeans. Not only are they comfortable but they are so versatile. You can wear them casually or girl them up with some heels, which is my preference of course. If you’re like me, finding the right fit is SO hard! Girl, I feel your pain! I have tried on a lot of pairs and because I don’t really have a shape on me, there aren’t many styles that fit just right. So when I saw this pair on my girl Haley over at Sequins and Things last fall, I just knew they would be the ones and I am SO glad I jumped on them! Lucky for you all they are still around, so act now!

In case you didn’t know, I wear contacts and a couple times a week you’ll find me sporting my glasses because my eyes are exhausted and I just can’t put my contacts in. I thought about taking them off but thought a little extra dose of reality was in store. 🙂 Thanks to Lauren over at LEA Photography for these great pics. It’s amazing all we can get accomplished while someone cute is at pre-school! Shout out to my moms/nannys out there who have perfected their to-do list in under two hours drill! 🙂

currently loving:

  • the big hug I get at pre-school pick up
  • the hubs reaction when I surprised him with a much deserved milkshake tonight
  • the amount of pink accessories I own

Have a wonderful night!

I love the jeans! I despise jean shopping but would be open to trying this pair. Too bad I need to wait post baby to find the right fit :-/ And those heels are amazing! I love this outfit!

Thanks love! I know jean shopping can be the worst! It’s a lot of trial and error but once you know your size and style it’s so much easier! Thanks for stopping by! xoxo
