Happy Saturday, dolls!
I am feeling so inspired after going to the trend show this morning! If you’ve never been to one and have a Nordstrom by you I highly recommend it! It cost $20 for a ticket but once you check in you get your money back in the form of a gift card to spend on product. There are so many great incentives with every line of make-up and skin care. Believe me you won’t leave empty handed!
There is a fashion show with trends for fall in clothing and cosmetics plus tons of raffles and guest appearances with celebrity stylists. So great! While I don’t love some of the weather we have here in the Midwest for Fall, the fashion is so fab. I have some great pictures to share but first, let me post a pre-show selfie with my mom.

Moving on, the first trend is feminine and cute with faux fur, fringe and layers with your go to fall shades like burgundy, grey and navy, Nordstrom is calling it “Folklure.” There is so many vintage inspirations with this trend plus hats! Who’s excited hats are still in?! Right?! So pumped. Here’s the best shot I got of all the looks. Pea-coats in all shades are paired over embellished shorts, silk pants and printed skirts. Add a velvet berry lip and you’re set.
Sorry I know its hard to see the details…you’ll just have to make a trip into Nordstrom and shop.
I love this look. Faux fur, pleats, flowers and a hat. #idie
Vest, Top, Skirt, Hat, Lipstick
I love this look as well because its effortless. Pattern mix, over-sized coat and floppy hat. #done
Coat, Tunic, Top, Leggings, Hat, Lipstick
The second trend is all about black, leather, sequin and going out. Nordstrom calls this “Knight Rider,” and it’s so great for date nights or girls nights out. Plus, SPOILER ALERT, the best hats ever!!! Que smokey eyes as your fall make-up style. Check out the links for a few of my personal favorite pieces!
Jumpsuit, Jacket, Hat, Eyeshadow Palette
The last trend labeled, “cozy chic,” is just that. Adorable, feminine and cozy pastel layers. Plus more hats! Hooray! I love outfits where you layer up and stay warm while still looking fab! Think girls night wine tasting or mimosa brunch.
Sweater, Top, Skirt, Hat, Tights, Fragrance
I couldn’t help but walk around the store and check out some other great fall finds that I will post later this week. Here’s what I wore to the show today and it is easy and affordable to duplicate for you as well!
Kimono, Tank, Leggings, Booties, Necklace, Necklace, Lips
Have a fabulous weekend! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you were inspired a little for your own fall fashion! Contact me with questions or to share your own fall favorites!
xoxo,
Madelyn
