Happy Monday dolls!
I have so much in the works for the blog and for our house over the next 6 weeks or so that I feel like I am going 70mph all day. So if I sound like an even more rambled mess then normal that’s why. I couldn’t fall asleep last night because I had a million ideas bouncing around my head. It’s a good thing for sure just a litttle exhausting haha it also doesn’t help that I have ADHD so my brain is always in 10 places at once. At one point yesterday the hubs was like you realize you just asked me to do 3 completely different things all at the same time? Whoops. Sorry babe! #welcometomylife
We were pretty busy all weekend just getting stuff done around the condo. The hubs and I met my brother and sister-in-law out for drinks and sushi Friday night after work and then headed home so I could finish up my blog post and make a list of what we needed to do for the weekend. We’re total party animals can you tell? Haha. 🙂
On Saturday morning I meant to go work out but my bed was just too cozy, oops. So we slept in and I made coffee and brunch before we got to work cleaning, organizing, doing laundry and getting lots of behind the scenes blog stuff done. I was in my pjs until 4pm, no joke. Not being lazy just go go go until I finally made us some dinner and we decided to go see The Intern. We got a lot of movie gift cards through the course of our engagement/showers/wedding and we are still using them which is so great! We love seeing movies but don’t like how expensive they are so we normally just wait to get them from Redbox or on Netflix but it’s so fun to see them on the big screen every once in a while too. So thanks to those that got us the gift cards we are still putting them to great date night use! 🙂 We recommend The Intern for sure, we laughed we cried we got warm fuzzies, it was great! You can watch the trailer, here. Have you seen any great movies lately? I love adding to our list!
On Sunday my sweet hubs made me coffee and breakfast in bed which was such a sweet surprise! I can’t remember the last time that happened and it was the perfect start to the day! 🙂 Then we got to work getting more little things done around the condo, ran errands and took some blog photos. I made us dinner and then we finished off the night with wine, catching up on our favorite shows and painting some paper mache pumpkins! I’ll post everything you need to recreate these either this week or next!I think they turned out so cute, don’t you?! 🙂 Can you tell I keep lots of craft stuff around, ha! I wanted to decorate pumpkins that we could have for the next couple years and these are going to be fab in our new house! Yay!
This was one of our only weekends this Fall where we didn’t have anywhere to be and could take our time and get things done and it was so great! There is nothing like quality time with your significant other to get yourself ready for a new week, ya feel me? 🙂 I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Thanks for stopping by for this little life update!
