Weaver Family Update

Hello friends!!

It’s been awhile since I put a blog post together and gave some life updates. I feel like we’ve been going a million miles a minute and I just don’t have the time to sit down and think about my blog. We spent most of the summer flying back and forth to Boise house hunting and thankfully got the keys to our new house Tuesday so the hunt is over! Moving is so bittersweet since we are leaving our families and friends here but we know this is the right decision for our little family and I’m really looking forward to spending more time together as a family. We miss Josh so much during the week. πŸ™ We’ve also had renovations going on at our house all summer in preparation to list our house and we’re finallyyy almost done! I’m pretty sure I never want to live in a house we’re doing updates to again, ha! Such a headache and mess. Our house should be on the market in a couple weeks and we’re praying for a quick sell so we aren’t carrying 2 houses for too long, yikes! #expensive

Our new house in Idaho!

We also found out some surprising and exciting news earlier this summer, Sophia is going to be a big sister! Yep, we’re expecting again, ETA March 23!! I think Josh and I are still in the shocked stage even though we are almost 11 weeks in at this point. But I’ve learned that God is teaching me to let go of my plans and to just trust in His timing. I like to think He was just laughing at me as I said I would NEVER move to Idaho, would NEVER move pregnant, and would NEVER be nursing and pregnant, but here I am doing all of those things, HAHA! #facepalm

Sophia is really excited to have a baby at our house and we’ve been reading her big sister book almost everyday. I’m excited for her to have a buddy around and see her in her new role as big sister! She’s going to be an awesome big sister and she’s already completed Big Sister Boot Camp where she had to take care of all her baby dolls by feeding, changing/helping them potty, having tea for two, putting them down for naps, reading books and going for walks! πŸ˜‰ She can’t wait to be a big helper! Even looking at these pictures I’m reminded again what a big girl she is and I’m so proud of the little lady she is becoming. God truly blessed us by making her our daughter and I’m feeling so emotional that we are being entrusted with another blessing this spring. We certainly don’t take it for granted and know how fast the time will go before s/he joins our family!

Please pray for us as we getting ready to move and start a new life in Idaho and for a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery this spring. We have lots of change in store but I am trusting in God’s plan for our family and that He has our best interest at heart. We’re in for a wild ride and hope you’ll stick around for all the fun of this new adventure!
