Sweater Weather with Banana Republic

Happy Tuesday loves!

I took a much needed break from my blog at the end of my pregnancy and the first month of Sophia’s life and now it’s time to get back to reality! I have a long list of posts I want to get up on the blog and while they won’t all be current anymore since I have bump-dates still to share, ha I’m excited to finish up my bump series and start posting about mom life and share some gift guides since somehow it’s holiday shopping time already! Where did this year go? It was the fastest of my life for sure and I can’t believe Sophia is a month old already! Ah! Time needs to slow down for reals! πŸ™ I’m trying to enjoy every second of the newborn snuggles I can get because I know she’s going to want to be running around before I know it and I’ll be missing these lazy days! But one day at a time. πŸ™‚

It’s crazy that it has already gotten pretty chilly around here the last week or so and I’ve needed the heat on in the car and in the house! I love getting all cozy in my favorite sweaters though and am so excited to partner with Banana Republic again and show you a couple of their awesome new sweaters for the season. I styled a look that’s more “wear to work” inspired or even a holiday event you might have coming up and one that’s more casual “weekend wear” style. If you’ve been around awhile you know how important versatility is to me so sweaters a wardrobe staple because of how much wear you can get out of them. They’re so easy to layer pieces under or over and as it get’s colder I will be adding blanket scarves to my sweaters as well! How cute is the light weight turtleneck style? So perfect for cold days!126101115I have to admit I was a little nervous about taking my first couple outfit photos post baby because my body is not quite the same that it was before, obviously. I’ve never had to worry about clothes that work for a larger bust in my life so that is a new challenge and my hips are wider then they used to be so getting back into all my jeans will take a little while but Sophia is worth it so I’m going to give myself a break! πŸ˜‰ Cut yourself some slack mamas; our bodies go through so much and even if they never look the same they’re amazing and beautiful and strong! Don’t forget it!Β 23581922
