Someday….

by

Cheers, we made it half way through the work week!

We all deserve a drink and a pat on the back because life is hard but you’re a rockstar. In case you don’t hear that enough let me remind you! Even on your hardest, longest, most frustrating days, you made a difference. No matter how big or how small. To someone it just enough. You are enough. And when life gets me down or a 3 1/2 year old has a meltdown about nothing, I like to look at these little photos and remind myself of a few important things; life is short.

Someday he isn’t going to ask me to build him a tent and snuggle inside it with him.

Someday he isn’t going to say he would rather swing on myΒ swing with me.

Someday he isn’t going to want to hold my hand at lunch and look at me like I hung the moon.

Because someday he’ll be all grown up.

So I don’t know about you, but I think I’ll keep all my todays, even when they’re hard. Because life is full of the best little moments and at the end of the day, they are everything.

To all my mommy and nanny friends out there, you are appreciated and you are loved. Don’t forget it. I hope you cherish and celebrate all your little moments today. They are a gift!

Thanks for stopping by!

xoxo,

Madelyn

      Tanesha,
Thanks so much for your sweet words and for stopping by my little blog! I am actually a full time nanny πŸ™‚ thanks for the compliment though! I am always impressed by moms whose bodies bounce back so quickly post baby! I hope I can be so lucky some day.

Have a wonderful night and please stay in touch!
