Friday Faves

Happy Friday loves!

I am so excited to share a couple of my bath time/at home spa faves with you today! I don’t know about you but scheduling time for myself is an absolute must during the week or I feel like I will literally have a break down. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have a ton of time for leisure but you only need about a half an hour to relax and rejuvenate and get yourself together. If you have kiddos or a dog your me time probably won’t actually be time uninterrupted because of course they can’t imagine any activity in which they would not be invited to be a part of, ha. But seriously. After I refused to let her in for a good ten minutes she went and sat down and stared at me until my time was over and then she jumped in on her own. #divaimage2If you follow me on Instagram you know that weekly blooms are a must have for me. I make a couple small bunches around the house and it seriously brightens my mood and relaxes me so much. Little things like fresh flowers really set the tone for my week and make me so happy. If you don’t keep flowers around the house you totally should. You’ll feel instantly happy, I promise!

I’ve talked about my love for candles before but I am seriously obsessed. I have them all over our condo and there is always one burning when we are home. Blue Garden by Nest is one of my all time favorites and I keep it in the bathroom because it is so fresh and floraly and heavenly. I love having it lit when I am getting ready in the morning or winding down after a long day. A quality scent really sets the mood. Plus this one gives money to autism which is an added bonus.

The other thing that is totally essential for any at home me time is wine. Hello, duh. We LOVE our wine club and I highly recommend joining one yourself. It’s a small surprise every month but it’s seriously so fun. I’m convinced it makes my relaxation time so much better when I pop open my new wine of the month and unwind. Sometimes I even remember to share with the hubs. 😉

Don’t forget a few delicious scented bath bombs to throw into the water and add another layer of peace and calming. I personally love everything by Lush and they are re-opening their store in Oakbrook and I can’t wait to stock up on all the deliciousness. You really can’t go wrong with any of their products. Get yourself there!image1 (2)Another necessity in your relaxation time is some at home pampering product like a fab exfoliation scrub. I came across Flora Bodycare scrolling through Instagram one day and just haddd to try their body scrub! Not only is it vegan and cruelty free but this one is coffee scented! AH! Let me tell you I was NOT disappointed! After a long bath I applied the scrub and waited about 5 minutes before rinsing it off and my skin legit felt like butter and smelled like coffee! Can you say perfection?? Love it! I am totally gonna have to try the vanilla+coconut scrub next!

What are your favorite ways to unwind at home? Lord knows we could all use a little more recipes for a relaxing night that don’t break the bank so please comment below and have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for stopping by!
