It has been so cold this week so I got to bust out two of my fave finds from Forever21! While that store can be slightly overwhelming sometimes, if you go in with a purpose, you’ll always walk out with some trendy and affordable finds! With the recent change of jobs for me, I find myself gravitating towards lots of layers because I never know what a day with Riley will hold. I’m often taking off a layer, then putting it back on and even adding a blanket when we’re snuggled up reading. That being said, I still want to be trendy even when I am just being comfy for the day. So that’s why I am so excited to show you my outfits from yesterday and today! Cute. comfy and affordable! #winwinwin
I’m obsessed with this over sized sweater plus don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t wear pastels or white jeans in the late Fall/early Winter! I was so excited to post the link for you but after looking through the cardigans a good four times on Forever21’s website, it’s not there! Gah! SO you’ll just have to take my word for it and get yourself there to pick out a few sweaters for yourself!
So you all know that faux fur is all the rage right now but get a load of this blush colored vest. I. Die. Feminine and cozy.
Sidenote: if you love a piece, don’t let anyone talk you out of it. I almost let these distressed boyfriend jeans go after mixed reviews from a few friends and then was like ya know what, I love them and that’s all that matters. Make sure to be true to yourself in your quest to be trendy. Trends come and go but your style is forever. 🙂
Today I am thankful for the library. Riley and I go often to pick out bags of books that we read over and over and over. I love our cozy moments and know that before I know it he’ll be able to read all by himself and won’t sit in my lap and recite the words along with me. With the cold temps we have been having, we are spending even more time with out books and I am thankful it is something that we both love. Here’s what I read last week! What are you reading right now? I have the Kindle app but can’t resist checking out a few books every once in awhile as well and always love a good suggestion!
Whenever I don’t have a book I’m dying to read I head over to see if there are any books I haven’t read by some of my go-to others. Emily Giffin and Philippa Gregory being a couple of them. If you haven’t read any of their books I highly recommend them. Kind of opposites while Emily bases her romantic pieces about modern life , Philippa books are all romantic historical fiction centered around royalty in and around the 1600-18oos. Easy and entertaining reads.
So those are my tips for today. 🙂 Hope you all have a wonderful evening and thanks for stopping by!
