I know it’s been months since I posted and I’m so excited to be back and sharing a little bit into my days as a mom! I’ve spent the last 5 months really focusing on Sophia and my new role as a mom and going forward that will be a huge part of my blogging. You can expect product reviews and style for moms and babies, recipes, some DIYS and snapshots of our life! I have some catching up to do so you’ll also see some “outdated” posts like Sophia’s birth story and things I learned in the early days of motherhood and the end of my pregnancy as well. Woo! So hopefully you don’t mind the back and forth haha.
Something really important to us these days is trying to have lots of family time on the weekends since the hubs works during the week and doesn’t get much quality time with us. Even just running errands is more fun all together! 🙂 Today the three of us had the opportunity to spend the afternoon at Woodfield mall getting in the Easter spirit! We treated ourselves to my new favorite Starbucks drink (iced cinnamon almond milk macciato) took pictures with the Easter bunny, had lunch and did some shopping! Well Sophia shopped and we carried her bags; she’s a diva in training I tell you! 😉 I was drooling over all the adorable baby stuff at Janie and Jack (you can see what Sophia picked out, below) and wait till you see how cute Sophia was in her bunny ears! Holidays are so much better with kids and experiencing firsts with her are so magical! Her eyes lit up sitting with the Easter bunny for a photo, it was so precious! You can see her photo over on Instagram. Shout out to the picture people for making all the babies and kiddos smile with the very patience bunny today! The hubs even snapped a few pics to capture our day out and they turned out pretty cute, I think we’ll use him for photography more often! 😉 But seriously spending the day walking around, sipping our coffees and trying to get Sophia to laugh is the best and there isn’t anywhere I would rather be!
Thanks for stopping by!
