Happy Tuesday loves!
Can you believe were in the second half/end of August already? It’s crazy that school has started and it’s chilly in the mornings and evening, which this preggo is a huge fan of! It’s been a hotttt few months for me and it feels good to have a break! It’s such a weird feeling to want to hold onto our last summer having total freedom to enjoy ourselves as a married couple without kids but then also want fall to be here so badly so we can finally meet our girl at the same time!x Ha! Such is life. We always want what we can’t have, am I right?
The closer and closer we get to our due date the harder and harder it is to find things that are comfortable and flattering to wear. I’m trying my hardest not to buy anything else at this point but it seems like everyday another thing doesn’t look quite as flattering or it just flat out doesn’t fit! Thank goodness for fitted maternity and non-maternity dresses! I have been LIVING in dresses like this and think they’re a pregnancy must have, 100%! They’re so versatile and by just switching up the accessories you can wear them during the day and out at night! Anddd it’s perfect to transition into fall by throwing on a cardigan and booties once it starts to really get chilly around here! Let’s be real I’m still going to wear this post pregnancy, it’s that comfy!

I absolutely loove this dress and the price tag is amazinggg for maternity at just under $35! Holllaa! 😉 But for real, why are maternity clothes often so expensive when they aren’t even that cute? Like give me a break you basic t-shirt for $50! ::eye roll:: There are some of the ugliest clothes I’ve ever seen in my life marketed to pregnant women and it’s ridiculous. We already don’t feel great about our bodies so how about you cut us some slack and make some adorable AND affordable clothes for us to rock the next 9/10 months, thank you very much! Don’t get me wrong I’ve managed to find some great maternity clothes at Nordstrom (maternity is online only), Asos Maternity and of course PinkBlush Maternity and even a few cute things at Destination Maternity and A Pea in the Pod but it has not been an easy hunt, that’s for sure! I’m working on a pregnancy wardrobe list for you all so you don’t have to waste your time shopping around like I did, so stay tuned for that post!
I hope you all have a great start to your week and as always thanks so much for stopping by! I hit a new milestone over on Instagram today and just want to say a big thank you to my 4k followers! Feeling so loved, y’all are the best!!
